Hopefully with better weather in the coming summer months, the numerous outside events that typically happen in the 7 Vallées, will provide lots of opportunities for topping up the tan and enjoying the rural french life.
There are local Brocantes in villages throughout the summer all around the region.
The list of 'what's on' in the area is too long to detail here so please give us a call if you want any tips or recommendations but below are just some of the events planned in Hesdin and at Hôtel La Chope.
A few significant dates for your diary are..
Saturday June 17th - FETE DE LA MUSIQUE: Live music everywhere! In HESDIN, you will find groups, bands and solo artists peforming outside most cafés and bars and, if the weather is kind, this often goes on from early afternoon until late in the night. At HOTEL LA CHOPE, we will be hosting GOBO DOBRO (terrific guitar duo) and a good night is assured
Sunday July 9th - GARDEN PARTY: Hosted by members Roger & Gaye Brough in their beautiful secluded garden at Beaurainville and all proceeds will be donated to the SANDI Fund
July 14th - FETE NATIONAL: Big day throughout France but there is always a huge Brocante at Montreuil which is a great day out but don't expect to park anywhere near the town centre!
